UNIMED Begins 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Registration for Prospective Candidates
The University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, popularly known as UNIMED, has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the UNIMED 2026 Post-UTME screening exercise, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- Candidates must have selected UNIMED as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME and scored at least 150.
- Candidates who did not initially choose UNIMED can still apply after changing the institution to first choice on JAMB CAPS.
- Applicants must possess at least five credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- The required O’Level results must not exceed two sittings.
- Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, and Doctor of Physiotherapy require the five O’Level credits in one sitting.
- Direct Entry candidates must possess acceptable A’Level qualifications, ND, HND, or JUPEB certificates depending on the programme.

Monday, 3rd August to Friday, 7th August, 2026
Important Notice to Applicants
UNIMED emphasized the following:
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026.
- Applicants already matriculated in another university who have not withdrawn are expected to disclose this during registration.
- Direct Entry candidates must ensure their academic transcripts are forwarded to the Registrar before the screening date.
- Candidates are advised to avoid payments to unauthorized individuals or accounts.
Required Documents for Screening
Applicants are expected to come along with:
- Original JAMB result slip
- Completed Post-UTME registration slip
- Direct Entry registration slip (for DE applicants)
