ABSU Commences 2025/2026 Post-UTME & Direct Entry Online Screening
Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu, has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates seeking admission into the university’s regular degree programmes are hereby invited to participate in the online screening.Who Can Apply?
The screening exercise is open to the following categories of candidates:- Those who chose ABSU as their First or Second Choice in the 2025 UTME.
- Candidates who did not initially choose ABSU but are willing to change to the university.
- Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME.
- All Direct Entry applicants.
- Candidates with a minimum of five O’Level credit passes, including English and Mathematics, as required by their chosen programmes.
Application Procedure
To participate in the screening:- Visit the ABSU portal: www.portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng
- Upload your:
- UTME score
- O’Level result(s)
- Degree or other qualifications (for Direct Entry applicants)
- Ensure the same information is uploaded on the JAMB portal.
- Make a non-refundable e-payment of ₦2,000 only via any of the following methods:
- Banks: ABSU Microfinance Bank, Signature Bank, First Bank, Eco Bank, Zenith Bank, Fidelity Bank, Union Bank, or UBA.
- Debit Card: Payment can also be made online using your bank ATM card.
