ESUT Begins 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Online Screening Registration
Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) online screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into the institution.
According to the university’s official admission notice, the screening exercise is open to candidates who selected ESUT as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Candidates who did not initially choose ESUT but wish to study at the university are also eligible to apply after completing a Change of Institution to ESUT through the JAMB portal.
The university emphasized that the screening exercise will be conducted entirely online. Candidates are not required to appear for any physical screening exercise or aptitude test.

The approved minimum UTME scores for admission into various programmes are as follows:
240 and Above
- Medicine and Surgery (MBBS)
- Nursing Sciences
- Law
220 and Above
- Pharmacy
- Doctor of Optometry
- Doctor of Physiotherapy
200 and Above
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Medical Radiography
- Computer Science
- Intelligence and Security Studies
- Cyber Security
- Data Science
- Software Engineering
- Artificial Intelligence
180 and Above
- Anatomy
- Public Health
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Accountancy
- Business Administration
- Mass Communication
- Political Science
- Biochemistry
- Microbiology
- International Relations and Diplomacy
- Architecture
160 and Above
- All programmes under the Faculties of Agriculture, Education, Environmental Sciences, and other eligible courses.
Screening Fee
The university announced that the screening processing fee is ₦2,000 only.
Registration Period
Online registration for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise commences on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, and closes on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Prospective applicants are advised to complete their registration before the deadline and ensure that all information provided during the application process is accurate. Candidates should also regularly monitor both the ESUT admission portal and the JAMB CAPS portal, where admission updates and offers will be communicated.
Applicants who have not yet selected ESUT as their first-choice institution should complete the necessary Change of Institution process through JAMB before proceeding with the online screening registration.
