UNILAG Opens 2026/2027 Post-UTME Registration for Undergraduate Admission

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced the commencement of its online registration for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into all undergraduate programmes.
According to the University, the registration portal will be open from Monday, June 15, 2026, to Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates seeking admission into the University of Lagos must satisfy the following conditions:
- Candidates must have selected UNILAG as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Applicants must have scored 200 and above in the 2026 UTME.
- Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- O’Level results must be uploaded on both JAMB CAPS and the UNILAG Application Portal on or before Friday, August 14, 2026.
- Candidates who will not be 16 years old by September 30, 2026, are not eligible to apply.
- Participation in the Post-UTME Online Aptitude Test is compulsory. Candidates who fail to participate will not be considered for admission.
- Applicants must register using their personal and active email addresses, as all official communication will be sent through email.
Special Admission Conditions
The University further stated that:
- Former students whose admissions were withdrawn due to poor academic performance or absence status may reapply, provided the new admission is sought into a programme different from the former one.
- Candidates who were previously expelled from the University are not eligible for fresh admission.
Application and Screening Fees
The fees payable for the screening exercise are as follows:
- Screening Fee: ₦2,000
- Application Fee: ₦3,500
Registration Procedure
Eligible candidates should visit the UNILAG Application Portal and complete the registration process by following these steps:
- Click on “Start New Application”.
- Select “Undergraduate” under Application Type.
- Log in using your UTME Registration Number as the username and your surname in lowercase letters as the password.
- Generate and print the payment advice.
- Proceed to any commercial bank to make payment or pay online.
- Return to the portal and complete the screening form.
- Print the Post-UTME Examination Pass.
Mock Examination and Post-UTME Schedule

Mock Examination
Monday, June 22 – Sunday, July 26, 2026
Post-UTME Online Aptitude Test
Monday, July 27 – Friday, July 31, 2026
Candidates are advised to prepare adequately and ensure they participate in both exercises as scheduled.

Important Notice
Candidates are strongly advised to adhere strictly to all registration guidelines and instructions provided by the University.
The University of Lagos maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy on drug abuse. Consequently, the admission of any candidate who tests positive for drug use during any University-conducted screening, whether before or after registration, will be withdrawn.
Prospective applicants are encouraged to complete their registration within the stipulated period and ensure all required documents are properly uploaded to avoid disqualification.
