OAUSTECH 2026/2027 Admission Requirements and Post-UTME Screening Registration Guide
The management of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State, formerly known as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), has announced the commencement of registration for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Admission Screening Exercise.
Prospective candidates who wish to secure admission into the institution are advised to carefully review the eligibility requirements, programme-specific conditions, and application procedures outlined below.
General Admission Requirements
Candidates seeking admission into OAUSTECH for the 2026/2027 academic session must satisfy the following requirements:
- Candidates must have selected OAUSTECH as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME and obtained a minimum score of 150.
- Candidates who selected OAUSTECH as a second-choice institution or did not initially choose the university are required to process a Change of Institution through JAMB and make OAUSTECH their first choice before registration.
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates must also choose OAUSTECH as their first-choice institution before applying.
- Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- However, candidates applying for Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, and Public Health Science must obtain their O’Level results in one sitting.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026.
- All applicants are required to upload their O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, GCE, ND, JUPEP, IJMB, and other acceptable qualifications) to the JAMB portal.
Programme-Specific Admission Requirements
Applicants are encouraged to verify the specific requirements for their chosen programmes on the university’s official website before completing their registration.
Nursing Science
- Candidates must score 200 and above in the 2026 UTME.
- Applicants will participate in the Post-UTME examination scheduled for September 30, 2026.
- Graduates of accredited Schools of Nursing who have completed their Council Examinations are eligible to apply through Direct Entry.
- O’Level results must be obtained in one sitting.
Medical Laboratory Science
- Candidates must score 200 and above in the 2026 UTME.
- Applicants will be required to sit for the Post-UTME examination on a date to be announced by the university.
- O’Level results must be obtained in one sitting.
Public Health Science
- Candidates must score 180 and above in the 2026 UTME.
- Applicants will sit for the Post-UTME examination on a date to be communicated later.
- O’Level results must be obtained in one sitting.
Agriculture Programmes
The following programmes are grouped under Agriculture on the JAMB portal:
- Agricultural Economics and Extension
- Animal Production and Health
- Crop, Soil and Pest Management
Candidates who selected Agriculture on the JAMB portal are required to choose one of the above programmes during registration on the OAUSTECH admission portal.
How to Apply for OAUSTECH Post-UTME Screening
Candidates should follow the steps below to complete their application:
Step 1: Visit the Admission Portal
Applicants should visit the university website or admission portal to begin registration.
Step 2: Read Registration Instructions
Carefully study all registration guidelines provided on the portal before proceeding with the application.
Step 3: Create an Account
Use a valid UTME or Direct Entry Registration Number to create an account and make the required payment.
Step 4: Verify Personal Information
Ensure that your UTME/DE Registration Number and Full Name exactly match the details on your JAMB registration records.
Step 5: Complete Online Registration
After successful payment, candidates will be automatically redirected to the registration dashboard to:
- Fill out personal and academic information.
- Upload required credentials and supporting documents.
- Review submitted information before final submission.
Step 6: Print Application Form
Candidates applying for:
- Nursing Science
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Public Health Science
should print a copy of their completed application form and present it during the Post-UTME screening exercise.
