Who is eligible?
The screening exercise is open to two categories of candidates:
- UTME candidates who made Obafemi Awolowo University their first choice and scored 200 and above
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates who applied to the university

How to register: a step-by-step guide
The entire registration process is handled online via the OAU admissions portal. Follow these steps carefully:
Step 1: Visit the admissions portal Go to https://eportal2.oauife.edu.ng/ug/admissions
Step 2: Verify your details Select “Verify your Details,” then provide your JAMB Registration Number, email address, and phone number. Your surname and first name will appear automatically. Confirm your details and proceed to payment via card, bank transfer, USSD, or a physical bank visit.
Step 3: Receive your login credentials Once payment is confirmed, your login details will be sent to the email address you provided. If you do not receive them, return to the portal, click “Confirm Your Payment,” and enter your JAMB Registration Number or email to re-trigger delivery.
Step 4: Log in to the portal Use your JAMB Registration Number as your username and password (note: the password is not case-sensitive), then click Login.
Step 5: Complete “My Application” Fill in all required fields and review all supplied information carefully before submitting.
Step 6: Submit Click Submit to complete the application process.
Important things to note
Physical attendance is required. The 2026 OAU Post-UTME screening is a physical exercise. All eligible candidates must present themselves at designated locations on their assigned dates and times between 1 and 5 September 2026.
