UNILORIN Opens 2025/2026 Post-UTME/DE Registration Portal

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has officially opened its portal for the 2025/2026 Pre-Admission Screening Registration. All UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into UNILORIN are advised to carefully follow the outlined procedures and guidelines, as any wrong entry may lead to automatic disqualification.

Key Dates:

• Registration Start Date: Monday, 28th July 2025 (00:01hrs)
• Registration End Date: Sunday, 10th August 2025 (00:00hrs)

Admission Criteria Weighting:

• UTME/DE Score: 50%
• Post-UTME Screening Score: 30%
• Five Relevant O’Level Subjects: 20%

General Guidelines:

• All candidates are required to upload their O’Level and/or A’Level results on JAMB CAPS. If awaiting results, select ‘AR’ (Awaiting Result).
• Candidates interested in changing their course/programme must do so only on JAMB CAPS. The university does not accept manual updates on its portal.
• Ensure you have a valid personal email address and phone number. Third-party contact details are not acceptable.
• Registration fee is ₦2,000.00, payable online via the Remita platform.
• Candidates are advised to review their entries before final submission, and print their screening documents after registration.

Step-by-Step Registration Procedure:

1. Visit https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ug/candidate/ or go to https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ and click on “Undergraduate Portal.”
2. On the left-hand menu, click “Pre-admission Screening Registration.”
3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Surname.
4. Click “Get Details” to verify UTME/DE information.
5. Fill in all required fields, including your O’Level and/or A’Level results.
6. Click “Make Payment” to proceed to the Remita platform.
7. Choose your ATM card type, fill in the card details (card number, expiry date, CVV, and PIN), and click “Pay.”
8. Do NOT refresh the browser during payment to avoid multiple deductions.
9. After successful payment:
   • Return to the portal and click “Admission Login.”
   • Enter your JAMB Reg. Number and Surname to log in.
   • Click “Next Step” and complete all necessary details.
   • Click “Submit” once all information has been correctly entered.

Note for Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

• DE candidates are to follow the same procedure listed above.
• Additionally, they must select their highest academic qualification from the dropdown and click “Save.”
• Click “OK” on the confirmation dialog box to complete the process.

Important Reminders:

• Errors in result entries will be considered deliberate falsification and will lead to disqualification at any stage.
• Always check your JAMB portal for updates and accept your admission promptly once offered.
