LAUTECH Announces 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Schedule

The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has officially commenced its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for admission into the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to a notice signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Olayinka O. Balogun, the university’s online portal will be open for registration from Friday, July 25, to Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The screening is open to candidates who selected LAUTECH as their first-choice institution in the 2025 UTME or applied through Direct Entry.

General Requirements:

• UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 170 in the 2025 UTME.
• All applicants must upload their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal on or before August 20, 2025.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

• UTME applicants must have at least five credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects (not more than two sittings).
• DE applicants must hold a Second Class Lower degree, Upper Credit ND, Merit NCE, or Lower Credit HND, in addition to five relevant O’Level credits.
• Candidates applying for Medicine, Nursing, or Medical Laboratory Science must possess all five required O’Level credits in one sitting only.

Application Steps:

1. Visit apply.lautech.edu.ng
2. Pay a ₦2,000 screening fee and a ₦3,000 portal access fee using an Interswitch-enabled debit card.
3. Complete and submit the online application form.
4. Upload a clear digital passport photograph (white background, JPEG format, not more than 20KB).
5. Review O’Level subject requirements and UTME subject combinations before submitting.

Important Notes:

• Candidates with awaiting results may apply but must upload results to JAMB CAPS by the deadline.
• Inconsistencies in name, age, or state of origin across documents may lead to disqualification.
• Admission will be based on 80% UTME score and 20% O’Level grades.
• Candidates who do not accept their admission offer on JAMB CAPS within three weeks will automatically forfeit it.

Direct Entry Applicants:

• DE candidates must forward academic transcripts to the Registrar’s Office at least one week before the interview date.
• Oral and written interviews for DE applicants will be held on August 25 and 26, 2025, at The Hall, LAUTECH Campus.

Caution Against Fraud:
The University strongly warns against dealing with fraudulent agents or unofficial channels. All payments and registrations must be done through the official university portal. Any falsified information may lead to withdrawal of admission and legal action.
