📢 IBBU Lapai Announces Post-UTME Screening Exercise for 2025/2026 Academic Session
The management of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai wishes to inform all UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who chose the institution as their first choice during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that the Post-UTME online screening exercise will hold from Wednesday, 10th September to Sunday, 28th September 2025.
Prospective candidates are advised to visit the university’s official website at www.ibbu.edu.ng to complete the screening process.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- UTME Candidates: Must have scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME and uploaded their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS.
- Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: Must upload a scanned copy of their Advanced Level result (IJMB, NCE, or Diploma) in addition to their O’Level results.
Note: A’Level NABTEB results are not acceptable for this exercise.
📝 Screening Process
The online screening exercise will be conducted in three (3) stages:
🔹 Stage 1: Eligibility Check
- Enter JAMB Registration Number to confirm eligibility.
- Provide mobile phone number and O’Level results (maximum of two sittings) from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NBAIS.
- Input the result checker PIN(s) for one or two results as applicable.
- Generate a transaction ID/invoice for payment through the designated gateway.
- Pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000 only.
🔹 Stage 2: Payment
- If Branch Collect is chosen, print the transaction ID/invoice slip and proceed to any listed bank on the portal for payment.
- If WebPAY is selected, candidates will be redirected to the WebPAY platform for online payment.
- Detailed payment instructions are available on the UTME Results Screening Portal.
🔹 Stage 3: Result Submission
- Upon receiving payment confirmation via SMS, log in with the details provided.
- Input all required results and personal details correctly.
- Print the acknowledgement slip after submission for personal reference.
⚠️ Important Notes
- Supplying false information will lead to automatic disqualification.
- Candidates can supply a maximum of two O’Level results.
- Those awaiting results may select the Awaiting Result (AR) option but must upload the results before the admission exercise ends.
- Failure to complete the online screening will result in forfeiture of admission consideration.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to complete all steps of the screening exercise before the deadline to ensure eligibility for admission consideration.
