Edo State University Iyamho (ESUI) 2025/2026 Admission Form
Edo State University Iyamho (ESUI), Edo State, Nigeria, has officially announced the commencement of its admission application for the 2025/2026 academic session. Qualified candidates are hereby invited to apply for admission into its undergraduate programmes through UTME, Direct Entry, or Inter-University Transfer.
General Admission Requirements
I. UTME Admission
- Application is open to candidates who sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Candidates must complete the online Application Form via the University’s official portal: www.edouniversity.edu.ng.
- Applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings in GCE O’Level/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or their equivalents.
- For Medicine and Surgery (MB;BS), the required five credits must be obtained at one sitting only.
- Candidates awaiting results may also apply.
- All applicants must participate in the ESUI Screening Exercise.
- Candidates who did not initially choose Edo State University Iyamho as their First Choice must apply for a Change of Institution through JAMB and then complete the ESUI online form.
II. Direct Entry Admission
- Direct Entry applicants must obtain the 2025 JAMB Direct Entry Form.
- ESUI accepts the following qualifications for admission into 200 Level:
- Minimum of Merit pass in NCE, or Credit in OND/HND, or a University degree in a relevant discipline.
- Two Advanced Level passes or equivalent in relevant subjects.
- Acceptable grades in IJMB, JUPEB, or Cambridge moderated School of Basic Studies.
- O’Level requirements must be met.
III. Transfer Candidates
- ESUI accepts transfer applications from candidates in other NUC-accredited universities, provided they meet the following conditions:
- Purchase and complete the prescribed ESUI Inter-University Transfer Application Form online.
- Pass the interview/screening conducted by ESUI.
- Meet the minimum entry requirements for admission.
- Possess a JAMB admission letter from their current university.
- Ensure their academic transcript is sent to the ESUI Admissions Office.
- Have a C.G.P.A. of not less than 1.5.
Application Fees
- UTME/Direct Entry Applicants: ₦2,000 (Post UTME/DE Application Fee).
- Transfer Candidates: ₦60,000 (Transfer Application Fee).

- B.Sc. Human Anatomy – Five credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics; Direct Entry via A’level in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- B.Sc. Physiology – Same requirements as Human Anatomy.

- MBBS Medicine and Surgery – Five credits (English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics) at one sitting only; Direct Entry via A’level in Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

- B.Sc. Mass Communication – Five credits including English and Mathematics; Direct Entry via A’level in English and relevant subjects.
