COOU 2025 Post-UTME & Direct Entry Screening Exercise; Check Eligibility and Deadline

🎓 Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), formerly known as Anambra State University, invites eligible candidates to participate in its 2025 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise. This opportunity is open to candidates who selected COOU as their First Choice institution and meet the required UTME scores.

Key Dates

• Registration Opens: Monday, August 11, 2025
• Registration Closes: Tuesday, September 18, 2025

Eligibility Criteria

UTME Candidates

To qualify for the screening, candidates must:

• Have chosen COOU as their First Choice in the 2025 UTME
• Be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025
• Meet the following minimum UTME scores:
  
  • 200 for Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • 150 for all other courses

> 📌 Note: Candidates who did not initially choose COOU but meet the score requirements may apply after changing their institution to COOU via a JAMB CBT Centre.

Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry applicants must:

• Have selected COOU as their First Choice institution
• Possess any of the following qualifications:
  
  • OND/HND
  • First Degree
  • A’Level in relevant subjects

Registration Fee

• Processing Fee: ₦2,000 only
• Payable via Remita at any commercial bank or online using an ATM card

Registration Procedure

Follow these steps to complete your application:

1. Visit the COOU Portal.
2. Click on Prospective Students
3. Select Generate 2025/2026 PUTME Invoice
4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click Sign In
5. Generate your invoice and proceed to payment
6. After payment, return to the portal and click Apply Here
7. Fill in your Date of Birth and other required fields
8. Upload your O’Level results to JAMB CAPS via a CBT centre
9. Upload the following documents (each must be under 50KB):
   
   • JAMB Result Slip
   • O’Level Result(s)
10. Review the Summary Page and confirm all details
11. Tick the Confirmation Box
12. Click Submit
13. Print your Acknowledgement Slip
