The Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) has opened its 2025/2026 UTME and Direct Entry (DE) admission screening application process. Eligibility Criteria
All candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2025/2026 UTME examinations and selected MOUAU as their first-choice institution are eligible to apply. Additionally, candidates who initially applied to other universities but wish to switch to MOUAU can do so by changing their first-choice institution via the JAMB Portal (www.jamb.org.ng). Prospective applicants considering a change are advised to visit https://mouau.edu.ng/academic-department-by-faculty/ to review the available courses before proceeding with their application.Registration Requirements and Process
The online registration for the admission screening exercise will commence on Wednesday, 16th July 2025. Candidates are required to follow these steps:- Visit the University website at www.mouau.edu.ng.
- Click on the 2025/2026 Admission Screening Banner and select the appropriate button.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Provide a valid email address and valid phone number (either the candidate’s or guardian’s) for records and contact purposes.
- This will redirect you to the Remita Payment Platform (RPP), where an RRR number will be generated for a non-refundable payment of N2,000.00.
- Payment can be made using a debit/credit card or by visiting any bank nationwide with the RRR number to deposit cash.
- Return to the website to continue registration. Transaction charges may apply.
- If challenges arise post-payment, send an email to portal@mouau.edu.ng.
- After payment, validate your payment by clicking https://portal.mouau.edu.ng/remita/query-remita/, then proceed to https://portal.mouau.edu.ng/registration/putme/jamb-no-verification to continue registration.
- Fill out the online application form, selecting the proposed department and providing requisite details.
- Upload O’Level qualifying details at any accredited JAMB CBT Centre. Note that O’Level results and the number of sittings are weighted.
- Confirm the accuracy of WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results before submission. Candidates awaiting 2025 WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results are advised to delay registration until results are available to avoid complications. Once results are released, candidates must upload them via a JAMB-accredited CBT centre.
- Direct Entry candidates must upload their requisite certificates (original in PDF format) during registration.
- Submit the form and print a copy after clicking the Submit button. A copy will be emailed to the candidate for records.

Important Guidelines
- Candidates should check the university portal for screening test results 14 working days after registration.
