UNILAG Concludes 2025/2026 Post-UTME, Vows to Punish Erring Candidates Over Malpractice
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially concluded its Post-UTME online screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. The exercise, which held between 1st and 4th September 2025, recorded a total of 20,464 candidates.
🚨 Malpractice Cases Detected
However, UNILAG disclosed that some candidates engaged in various forms of malpractice, violating the assessment guidelines. In line with the University’s zero-tolerance policy on examination misconduct, management announced that it will punish all erring candidates, making them ineligible for admission based on the outcome of ongoing investigations.
The institution confirmed that it has verifiable evidence of the infractions and assured the public that appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken.
