📢 Sokoto State University (SSU) Online Screening for 2025/2026 UTME/DE Admissions
Sokoto State University (SSU) has officially announced the commencement of its online screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2025/2026 academic session. This screening applies to both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) applicants who selected SSU as their first choice during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

- Start Date: Monday, 11th August 2025
- End Date: Friday, 10th October 2025
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must:
- Have a minimum UTME score of 150
- Have selected Sokoto State University as their first choice
- Upload O’level results with at least five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings
- DE candidates must upload scanned copies of relevant A’level results (e.g., Diploma, NCE, IJMB) on the university portal
- Ensure their O’level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS at any JAMB-accredited CBT centre

Follow these steps to complete your online screening:
- Visit the SSU Portal: https://portal.ssu.edu.ng
- Login: Use your JAMB Registration Number as both username and password
- Update Contact Info: Click on ‘Update Data’ to enter your phone number and email address
- Generate Payment Invoice: Print your screening invoice of ₦2,000 (excluding transaction charges) with a Monnify Payment Reference Number
- Pay at any commercial bank or
- Use the ‘Pay Now’ link for instant Monnify payment
- Complete Your Profile: After payment, log in again to update your biodata, academic records, and other required details
- Print Documents: Print your acknowledgment slip and payment receipt for your records

- The screening is strictly online
- No Post-UTME examination will be conducted
- Only candidates who complete the screening process will be considered for admission
