NSUK 2025/2026 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Screening; Eligibility, Cut-Offs & Application Guide

🎓 Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has officially announced the commencement of its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise. All eligible candidates are invited to apply within the stipulated timeframe.

• Registration Closes: August 29, 2025

A. Eligibility Criteria

UTME Candidates

To qualify for the screening, UTME applicants must:

• Have participated in the 2025 UTME and selected NSUK as First Choice
• Meet the following minimum UTME scores:
  
  • 200 for Law and Community Health Sciences
  • 180 for Health Information Management, Nutrition & Dietetics, Environmental Health Science, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering, and Computer Science
  • 170 for all other programmes
• Possess five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS)
• Upload O’Level results to JAMB Profile via accredited CBT centres

> 📌 Note: Mathematics and French are waived for candidates applying to French.

Direct Entry Candidates

To qualify, DE applicants must:

• Hold a minimum of:
  
  • Lower Credit in ND or NSUK Diploma
  • Merit in NCE
  • Eight (8) Points in IJMB
• Possess five (5) O’Level credit passes including English and Mathematics
• Upload O’Level results to JAMB Profile via CBT centres

> 📌 Note: DE candidates applying to Community Health, Environmental Health Science, and Health Information Management must be licensed by their respective professional bodies.

B. Application Procedure

1. Visit the NSUK Post-UTME Portal.
2. Create a profile/account
3. Select 2025/2026 POST-UTME application
4. Provide a valid email address and password
5. Log in and choose a payment option to pay the ₦2,000 screening fee
6. Input your scratch card details for WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS
7. Complete the application and wait 24 hours to check screening status
8. Print your Application Summary and Payment Invoice

> 📌 Important: Only candidates with a successful screening slip will be considered for admission. Use your own phone number during registration.

C. Mandatory Upload of Results

All UTME and DE candidates must upload their O’Level and A’Level results to their JAMB profile at accredited CBT centres. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from admission.

D. Admission Acceptance Deadline

Candidates must monitor their admission status on the JAMB portal. Once offered admission, it must be accepted within four (4) weeks. Failure to accept will result in cancellation and placement under the “refusal to accept” category, making the candidate ineligible for re-admission.

E. Screening is Mandatory

Participation in the Post-UTME screening is compulsory. Any candidate who fails to complete the screening will not be considered for admission.
