New Curriculum: Full List of Primary, JSS and SS Subjects
The Federal Government of Nigeria has unveiled a new national school curriculum, set to commence from September 2025. The announcement, which has sparked widespread conversation, was further amplified after the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, shared details of the subject list on his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday.
According to Olusegun, the updated curriculum introduces digital literacy, programming, artificial intelligence (AI), and entrepreneurship as central components of learning for both Junior Secondary School (JSS) and Senior Secondary School (SSS) students.
While the document shared online was unsigned and unmarked, it provides a clear outline of what Nigerian students will be studying under the new system.
