The Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB) has officially invited candidates seeking admission for the 2025/2026 academic session to register for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise. Eligibility for the Screening
FUTB has outlined the following eligibility requirements:- UTME Candidates: A minimum of 150 JAMB points is mandatory.
- Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: A minimum of Lower Credit in the National Diploma or Innovative Diploma, or a minimum of 4 points in two (2) subjects for IJMB.
- O’Level Requirement: Candidates must have passed a minimum of five relevant subjects at credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics, within not more than two (2) sittings.
- Scholarship Opportunity: Applicants seeking admission into B.Sc. Physics, B.Sc. Applied Geophysics, B.Sc. Chemistry, B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry, and B.Sc. Mathematics may be eligible for a scholarship upon admission.

Registration Process
Online registration for the screening exercise will commence on Monday, 28th July 2025 and close on Friday, 31st August 2025. Candidates are encouraged to follow the application guidelines below:How to Apply
- Access the Portal: Log on to https://futb.edu.ng and click on the Admission Menu to access the Post-UTME Portal.
- Step 1 – Eligibility Check: Navigate to the course display table, input your JAMB registration number to verify eligibility.
- Step 2 – Course Details: If eligible, your course will be displayed. Click the “More Information” button beside the course to view requirements, application fee (details not specified but payable during the process), duration, closing date, and session.
- Step 3 – Apply: Click the “Apply Now” button to proceed.
- Manual Sign-Up:
- Fill in the form below the Sign up with Google button.
- Click “Create Account”.
- Enter the activation code received in your email inbox into the provided boxes and click “Confirm”.
- Step 4 – Login: Use “Login with Google” if you have an existing account, or select “Sign up with Google” or manual sign-up if new.
- Step 5 – Payment: You will be directed to the payment page. Upon successful payment, a preview of your application will appear. Click “Proceed to Application Form”.
- Step 6 – Form Completion: Fill in details in the empty fields across all sections (pre-filled fields are uneditable). Click “Next” to move between sections.
- Final Submission: Click “Preview and Submit” to complete the application. A confirmation message will appear: “Congratulations!!! Your application has been submitted successfully. We wish you the very best.”
How to Check Payment Status
- On your dashboard, click “Transaction History” beside the All Applications tab to view a list of transactions.
- Check the “Status” column for each transaction.
- If the status is pending and you have been debited, click the “three dotted” action button, select “Check Status”, then click “Try Again”. The status will update if payment is successful.
