Ekiti State University Commences 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Online Screening
Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has commenced the online screening exercise for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) admissions. According to the university, the screening began on Wednesday, 13th August 2025, and will be conducted entirely online only — there will be no physical examination.Who is Eligible to Apply?
- UTME candidates who scored 150 and above and chose EKSU as their first choice.
- Candidates who scored 150+ but did not choose EKSU initially can still apply after changing to EKSU on the JAMB CAPS portal.
- Direct Entry candidates with Lower Credit/Merit in relevant qualifications.
- Candidates from EKSU’s Pre-Degree or JUPEB programme with a minimum of 7 points (Note: JUPEB only, not IJMB).
- Awaiting O’Level results? You can apply but must upload results as soon as they are out.
EKSU Departmental Cut-Off Marks (2025/2026)

Candidates with scores lower than these can still apply for other programmes, but must change to eligible courses via JAMB CAPS.
Step-by-Step Guide to Apply
- Visit eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng and click on “ADMISSION”.
- Sign up by creating an account with a valid email and phone number.
- After verification, log in with your correct email or JAMB registration number.
- Choose 2025/2026 PUTME application.
- Input your JAMB registration number — details will autofill.
- Select your course and upload required details.
- Proceed to make payment for the PUTME screening form.
- Upload your passport photograph (JPEG) and O’Level results.
- Submit the completed application form.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).
- DE candidates must hold NCE, ND, or equivalent with at least Lower Credit/Merit.
