C&S University to Begin Operations by 2026 – Rev. Esther Ajayi
The Cherubim and Seraphim University, located in Kwara State, is expected to commence academic operations by the year 2026, according to Reverend Esther Ajayi, Chairperson of the Cherubim and Seraphim Centenary Anniversary Steering Committee.
Speaking at the sidelines of the C&S Centenary Lecture held in Lagos, Rev. Ajayi—who also serves as the Founder of the Love of Christ Church, Lagos—disclosed to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the university project is already 80 percent complete.

The centenary lecture was part of a series of events marking 100 years of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, aimed at reflecting on the church’s divine mandate and envisioning its future direction.
Rev. Ajayi emphasized that the establishment of the university represents a major milestone in the church’s journey over the past century, especially in the area of human development. She noted that the university is designed to help mould the character of future leaders by instilling in them strong moral and spiritual values.
“With the steady decline in moral values in society, this university will serve as a moral buffer to guide the younger generation. We want to instill the value orientation required to build a better society,” she stated.

She further highlighted that the university would reflect the foundational values of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, especially its emphasis on holiness and righteous living, and serve as a platform for raising godly leaders.
“The Church is setting up institutions and structures to strengthen its global bridge-building efforts,” Rev. Ajayi added. “A renewed C&S inspires generations and encourages the global community to rediscover its spiritual roots and embrace true human service.”
Rev. Ajayi also revealed that the church has ambitions of expanding its evangelism efforts to Europe and the West, using education as a means to prepare bold minds who can take the gospel across the world.
“It is in schools that we groom individuals who will become instruments of global change and spiritual revival,” she concluded.
