University of Abuja Opens 2025/2026 Post-UTME/DE Screening Registration

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has officially announced the commencement of its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening registration. According to the Office of the Registrar, the exercise is strictly for candidates who selected UNIABUJA as their first choice during the 2025 UTME or DE registration.

Registration Period

Thursday, 14th August 2025 – Friday, 5th September 2025

Who is Eligible?

To qualify for the screening, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. UTME Applicants:
   
   • Must have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2025 UTME.
   • Must meet the required departmental cut-off marks.
2. O’Level Requirement:
   
   • Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
3. JAMB Portal Upload:
   
   • All O’Level results must be uploaded on the JAMB portal.
4. Direct Entry (DE) Applicants:
   
   • Must hold an NCE, IJMB, ND, HND, or First Degree.
   • JUPEB and NABTEB A’ Level candidates are not eligible.
   • A’ Level results must be uploaded on the JAMB portal and verified by the awarding institution.
5. Age Requirement:
   
   • Applicants must be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2025.
6. Correct Subject Combinations:
   
   • Candidates must ensure they used the correct UTME subject combination for their chosen course.
7. Awaiting Result Candidates:
   
   • Candidates using “awaiting result” status should not register.

How to Apply for UNIABUJA 2025/2026 Post-UTME/DE Screening

1. Visit https://portal.uniabuja.edu.ng and click on “click here to apply”.
2. Click on the undergraduate link on the left panel.
3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number, then click “Get details”.
4. Fill in your valid phone number and email, along with other personal data.
5. Pay the non-refundable fee of N2,000 using Remita:
   
   • Generate RRR
   • Pay online or print and pay at any bank.
6. Return to the portal to complete registration:
   
   • Enter your OTP
   • Upload passport photo (JPEG format)
7. Print your completed registration form.

Important Note

• If you wish to change your course or program, you must first make the change on the JAMB portal before registering for the screening.
• Admission racketeering is strictly prohibited. Candidates involved in such practices will be disqualified.
