Eligibility and Key Requirements
UNIPORT welcomes candidates who chose the university as their first choice and met the minimum UTME score of 150. Additional eligibility criteria include:- Consistency between names on WAEC/NECO results and JAMB registration documents.
- Candidates must be 16 years or above by September 2025.
- Candidates awaiting November/December 2025 GCE or NECO results are not eligible.
- Candidates who selected UNIPORT as their second choice must change it to first choice via the JAMB portal before registering.
- All candidates must ensure their O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal, as non-compliance will disqualify them from consideration.
Registration Process and Important Dates
Registration commenced on Friday, 11th July 2025 and will continue until further notice, with the deadline on Thursday, 31st July 2025 for both Post-UTME and Direct Entry applications. The online screening registration portal now extended will close at midnight on Thursday, 14th August 2025. - Access the Portal: Visit https://utmedetails.uniport.edu.ng/welcome_utme.php.
- Confirm Details: Input your UTME Registration Number to verify pre-loaded UTME details.
- Generate Payment Code: Generate a Remita code for online payment using a Master, Visa, or Verve card, or print a Payment Slip.
- Make Payment: Proceed to any of the following banks with Remita Platform—ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, UNIPORT-CHOBA (U & C) MICROFINANCE BANK, or ZENITH BANK—and pay ₦2,000.00 only. Obtain a Remita receipt with an Access Code from the bank teller.
- Complete Registration: Return to the portal, log in with your UTME Registration Number and Access Code (available from Monday, 14th July 2025), and complete the online form. Awaiting O’Level result candidates should indicate this status.
- Submit and Print: Click the “Submit” button and print the Registration Slip for the screening exercise.
- Photo Card: After submission, print the Photo Card, which will be required for screening clearance and will indicate the scheduled date and time.

- A clear copy of the printed Photo Card.
- A pen.
- Note: Mobile phones, iPads, iPods, Walkman, and other electronic gadgets or extraneous materials are strictly prohibited in the screening venue and its environs.

- Disqualification Risks: Inconsistencies in names or photos on the Registration Slip will lead to disqualification. Candidates must ensure all documents (O’Level Certificates, UTME Results) reflect the same name.
- Online Process: Registration is fully online, and candidates are not required to visit the campus physically. They should register from any location within the specified period.
- Security Measures: Parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents will not be permitted on campus during the screening days.
