The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has officially opened its portal for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Exercise. Candidates who chose FUTO as their first choice institution in the 2025 UTME or applied via Direct Entry are invited to participate.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.
- Must have scored a minimum of 150 in the 2025 UTME.
- Must possess at least five O’Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics, plus three relevant subjects, at not more than two sittings.
- For the MBBS programme, candidates must have all five required O’Level credits (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) in one sitting.
- Direct Entry (DE) applicants must hold OND, HND, NCE, First Degree, or A-Level results in relevant disciplines.
- Candidates not originally choosing FUTO but meeting the requirements may apply, provided they change FUTO to first choice via JAMB CAPS.

- Ensure your details on the FUTO portal match your JAMB CAPS information, especially JAMB Reg. Number, date of birth, state of origin, etc.
- Use a valid mobile number and email address for communication.
- Upload your O’Level results on JAMB CAPS by August 24, 2025 and click “Refresh” after entering the results.
- Candidates who fail to register before the deadline will not be considered.
- Only candidates who submit applications successfully online will be considered for admission.
For Direct Entry Candidates:

on or before August 24, 2025. - Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
Registration Steps:
- Visit www.futo.edu.ng > Click “Prospective Students” > Click “Undergraduate”
OR use this direct link: https://portal.futo.edu.ng/#undergraduate - Click “Generate Invoice” and enter your JAMB Reg. Number.
- Pay the application fee via Remita (using bank or ATM card).
- Return to the portal and click “Application Form”.
- Complete and submit your form.
- Print your acknowledgment slip.
- Await further updates from the university.
