NNAMDI AZIKIWE UNIVERSITY (UNIZIK) ANNOUNCES 2025/2026 POST-UTME & DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING EXERCISE

Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. This is to inform all eligible UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into UNIZIK and its affiliate institutions.

ELIGIBILITY

1. UTME Candidates
   
   • Must have chosen UNIZIK or its affiliate institutions as their first choice in the 2025 UTME.
   • Candidates who did not initially choose UNIZIK but scored the required cut-off marks for their intended course may apply after effecting a change of institution on the JAMB portal.
2. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
   
   • Must possess OND/HND/NCE/A’Level or First Degree in relevant disciplines.
   • Must choose UNIZIK as first choice or effect a change to UNIZIK on JAMB portal.
3. Age Requirement
   
   • Candidates must be at least 16 years old as of September 30, 2025.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
a. Registration Period:

• Start: Monday, 28th July 2025
• End: Saturday, 16th August 2025

b. Deadline for Change of Institution/Course to UNIZIK:

• Saturday, 9th August 2025

c. Upload of O’Level and A’Level Results on JAMB CAPS:

• Deadline: Saturday, 16th August 2025

APPLICATION STEPS

1. Visit https://apply.unizik.edu.ng
2. Validate your JAMB Reg Number, LGA, and UTME subjects.
3. Create account using valid email, phone number, date of birth & password.
4. Validate account using code sent to email and proceed to sign in.
5. On dashboard:
   • Click “O’Level” to upload results
   • Click “Buy Form” to pay N2,000 via Remita (online or bank)
6. After payment, return and click “Submit Form”
7. You’ll receive a confirmation email for successful application.

Note: You can edit your O’Level results during the registration window. After closure, the portal will be locked for editing. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Upload of results on JAMB CAPS is compulsory for admission consideration.
• Candidates awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
• Screening will be based strictly on UTME/DE scores and O’Level results—no physical exam.
• Candidates who provide false information will be disqualified and prosecuted.
• All registrations must be completed on or before 16th August, 2025.
