EKSU Announces Commencement of 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise
Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has officially commenced the sale of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening forms for qualified candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to the official announcement released by the university, the online screening exercise begins on Friday, July 3, 2026. The institution also emphasized that there will be no Post-UTME examination, as admission will be based solely on the screening of candidates’ credentials.
Candidates who selected EKSU as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply. In addition, candidates who did not initially choose EKSU but scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME can also apply, provided they change their first-choice institution to EKSU through the JAMB portal.
The university further disclosed that successful candidates from its Pre-Degree and JUPEB programmes will enjoy admission concessions in line with Senate approval.
However, candidates who are awaiting the release of their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) results have been advised not to apply for the screening exercise until their results have been released.
EKSU 2026/2027 Minimum UTME Cut-Off Marks
The minimum UTME scores for selected programmes are as follows:
- Computer Science – 180
- Engineering Programmes – 180
- Medical Biochemistry – 180
- Mass Communication – 200
- Medical Laboratory Science – 220
- Nursing Science – 230
- Pharmacy – 240
- Law – 250
- Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) – 260
Candidates who do not meet the minimum score for any of the above programmes may still apply by changing to another course for which they are qualified and effecting the necessary change through the JAMB portal.
EKSU also confirmed that it accepts JUPEB with a minimum of seven (7) points for Direct Entry admission.

Prospective candidates are advised to ensure that their O’Level results have been uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal before completing the screening registration. Applicants should also provide accurate personal and academic information during the online application, as false declarations may lead to disqualification.
Candidates are encouraged to complete their registration early and regularly monitor the university’s admission portal for further updates regarding the screening exercise.
